I never thought I would be happy to be in Arkansas and see the trees and rivers, but after being in the desert for an entire week...I'm thrilled to be home. Las Vegas was amazing, but its not a place I would like to call home. I posted most of the pictures from the trip already on facebook, so you can check them out there. Rather than going into details about the trip...here is a sweet bulleted list of a few things I learned and a few highlights.
Make sure you bring the bag that actually contains your CLOTHES. I had to buy clothes after the second night because I left all mine back home in Conway.
Anything and everything you can imagine is for sale on the sidewalks and inside the malls there.
Don't make contact with the card peoples or the vendors...
Its Ne-vah-dah... not Ne-vah-duh like pronounced in the South..they get irritated easily..silly sand peoples
Sand people - the only term Adam, Wesley, & I could come up with for the people who live in Ne-vah-dah
Their Wal*Mart closes at 10:00 pm and is open only 6 days a week..and has no food in it.
Luis can do anything, anytime, anywhere. PERIOD.
I don't like being surrounded by dudes and then being covered with toilet paper in a rave-like Vegas show.
Blue Man Group tickets are hella-expensive.
Whenever someone tells you to go in and talk to someone...don't look around. Just take care of business.
Anyways, sorry if this post disappoints anyone for its lack of deep thought or anything along those lines. I'm getting back into the groove of xanga & blogging again, so give me a break. I'll post again soon. If you have any questions about any of these..feel free to ask.
